‘Spear’ Throwing in History!

21st January 2019

Year 4 pupils tried their hands at ‘Spear’ throwing in their history lesson with Mr Hughes. They are looking at the Anglo-Saxons and why they built their homes on top of a hill. As the Year 4 children soon discovered, attacking with spears up a hill is a very difficult feat! The children were awarded 2 house points for the closest spear to the target. None of the Year 4 children managed uphill, however, there was more success aiming downhill. Well done to those who triumphed!
