On Wednesday 27 November Danes Hill U13 A team took on perhaps their strongest competitors of the season in Caldicot School. There is certainly history between the two teams and one of mutual respect as Caldicot are stooped in rugby history and one of only 2 teams that came out on top of Danes Hill last season in the U12 A group. The squad were fired up for the game from the start and defended brilliantly in the first minute, preventing Caldicot from scoring despite massive pressure. Danes Hill then fired some brilliant shots of their own scoring some very powerful tries to finish the half 10:0 up. In the second half the Danes Hill team stepped up the pressure with some amazing defence and even better direct attacking and offloading. The end score was a 55:10 win and a very proud moment for the boys.
